Paul L. Fair

Paul L. Fair, 58, of Gentry, Ark., died April 19, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. Born June 21, 1953, in Gravette, Ark., he was the son of Joseph Wiley Fair and Pauline Annabelle Welton Fair. He was a lifetime resident of the Gravette/Gentry area. He worked as a power company lineman as well as for the TSA at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport. Paul was a member of the Arkansas Combat Pistol League in Berryville, Ark. He owned and flew his own plane, and loved motorcycles and drag races. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church, Gravette, Ark. He married Bonnie Collins on Nov. 21, 1998, in Gravette. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of the home; one stepson, Justin VanHorn of Gravette, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Cheyenne Lemonds and Jenny Hengst, both of Gravette, Ark.; his mother, Pauline Fair of Bella Vista, Ark.; seven grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Fair Jr., of Bentonville, Ark.; three sisters, Beverly Galbraith of Farmington, N.M., Mary Ford of Gentry, Ark., and Lynn Cowick of Gravette, Ark.; and numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012, at Beacon Baptist Church, Gravette, Ark., with Pastor Gabe Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, near Gravette. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
