Laura Reynolds Tallant

Laura Reynolds Tallant, a resident of Eureka Springs, Ark., was born Nov. 30, 1922, near Garfield, Ark., a daughter of Amos Reynolds Sr. and Nora (Baker) Reynolds. She departed this life Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Eureka Springs at the age of 89 years. Laura was a very devout Christian with her family being the center of her life. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved gardening. Laura retired from Emerson Electric in Rogers, Ark. Brighton Ridge has been her home for the past six years after living in Rogers since 1974. On Dec. 16, 1948, Laura was united in marriage with Elmer Tallant who preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Juanita Reynolds of Eureka Springs, Ark.; one brother, Amos Reynolds and wife Louise of Garfield, Ark.; two grandsons, Dustin Eisler and Spencer Eisler and wife Sarah; and several nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Patricia Eisler; and two sisters, Audie Herndon and Mary Lillian Herndon. Graveside Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at the Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, Ark., with Brother Vito Sawtell officiating.
