Paul E. Bynum Jr., 54, of Springdale died Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born November 12, 1956 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Paul E. Bynum, Sr. and Helen Warder Bynum. Paul attended Siloam Springs schools where he participated in all sports, and Western Kentucky University. His career in the furniture industry included serving in management of the family business, Bynum Home Furnishings in Siloam Springs; sales and marketing representative for the Sealy Mattress Co.; sales representative for La-Z-Boy Inc.; and regional manager for Southern Motion, Inc. where he was awarded the "Iron Man" and "Salesman of the Year" awards. He was a past board member of the Arkansas Homefurnishing Association, a member of the Roadrunners Association and the Springdale Country Club. Paul grew up in the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springdale. He is survived by his parents, Helen and Paul E. Bynum, Sr. of Springdale, his brother Randall and wife Anne, nieces Olivia & Barrett Bynum and nephew Brooks Bynum all of Little Rock, and his business partner and former wife Jan Walker and their three dogs. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m., today, Friday, July 29 at Backstrom Pyeatte Funeral Home, 1401 E. Main, Siloam Springs, AR. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 30 at Backstrom Pyeatte Funeral Home, 1401 E. Main, Siloam Springs, Ark. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
