Helen Munn Lindsey

Helen Munn Lindsey, 94, of Pine Bluff died Friday, July 22, 2011 at Davis Life Care Center in Pine Bluff. Born October 1, 1916 in Laneburg (Nevada County), Arkansas, a daughter of the William Neil and Omah Lee Orr Munn, she was a graduate of Prescott (Ark.) High School, Magnolia (Ark.) A&M College and Draughon's Business College (San Antonio, Texas). She was employed in Pine Bluff by the Cotton Belt Railroad and worked for and retired from Pine Bluff Arsenal. Later she worked for the Federal Land Bank in Pine Bluff. She married Robert C. Lindsey in Pine Bluff in 1944. Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, George R. Munn; and sister, Sara Reader Munn. She was a member of South Side Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School. Survivors include her daughter, Beth Cash (Tommy) of Pine Bluff, and grandson, Bryan Cash of Rogers, Ark. Services are Monday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son.
