Dr. David E. Wennerstrom

Dr. DAVID E. WENNERSTROM, 65, of Little Rock, passed away Jan. 7, 2011. He was born in Glendale, Calif., on June 19, 1945 to Melvin E. Wennerstrom and Joan (Wickwire) Reed. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was also a member of the Gideons. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville (M.S. in Microbiology) and also attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (Ph.D in Microbiology). He is survived by his wife, Delores Wennerstrom of Little Rock; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Wennerstrom of Detroit, Mich., and Catherine Marie Scott (Ed) of Mayer, Ariz.; his mother Joan (Wickmire) Reed of Fayetteville, Ark.; and brother, John Edward Wennerstrom of Springdale, Ark. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 at Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel with Reverend Gary Hollingsworth and Reverend Rick Jaggars officiating. Private family interment will be at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
