A vehicle struck a minor, who reported only scratches, in front of Benton High School on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident occurred at a stop sign in front of the school. The driver came to a halt immediately, preventing any further injury, Benton police spokesperson Krista Petty said.
An officer on the scene was still awaiting video footage of the incident around 7 p.m. Thursday, Petty said.
