Bentonville appoints Malorie Marrs as City Clerk

BENTONVILLE-- The City of Bentonville announced the appointment of Malorie Marrs to the position of City Clerk on Tuesday, March 26, according to a news release from the city.

Marrs was appointed to the City Clerk position after approval by the City Council at the March 12 meeting.

Marrs assumes the role from former City Clerk, Kirby Romines, who resigned in March, with plans to move out of state in April, the release states.

Romines had served in the role for the past three and a half years and her current term was set to expire in December 2024. The City Clerk position will be placed on the 2024 General Election Ballot.

Marrs is the former Executive Director for the American Diabetes Association, serving both the state of Arkansas and Oklahoma.
