SPRINGDALE -- Springdale's aldermen on Monday recommended reducing the amounts awarded to nonprofit groups through the city's federal Community Development Block Grant funds.
Meeting as a Committee of the Whole, the council recommended reducing the nonprofit requests by 34% each to meet the federal limits of the program.
