State legislature wants other hospitals to follow Washington Regional’s lead on residencies

FAYETTEVILLE -- State government wants other Arkansas hospitals to follow Washington Regional Medical Center's lead in opening slots for new medical residents and is willing to put state taxpayer money behind such efforts, the governor's office and legislators say.
