Washington County finance and budget panel backs spending $20,000 for appeals in Freedom of Information Act cases

FAYETTEVILLE -- The cost of appealing rulings against the county in a pair of Freedom of Information Act lawsuits prompted Washington County Attorney Brian Lester to ask the Quorum Court to add $20,000 to his 2023 budget.
