Students celebrate graduates of Rowing Club

NWA Democrat-Gazette/ANDY SHUPE Campbell Rogerson (center), 17, a junior at Haas Hall Academy, and Ana Estrada, 18, a senior, join others Tuesday in lowering a rowing shell onto the water before participating in a series of informal 1,000-yard sprints to celebrate the graduation of members of the Northwest Arkansas Youth Rowing Club on Lake Fayetteville. Students from Haas Hall Academy and Shiloh Christian School have been learning about rowing from adult members since fall. The club will host novice classes beginning June 30.
