PEA RIDGE — The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of Ruby Ross, 81, as a homicide, according to a press release.
Deputies went Ross' house at 11001 Blue Jay Road in Pea Ridge on Wednesday evening after receiving a request to do a welfare check, the release state.
Detectives determined the death was suspicious. The release states the sheriff’s office believes this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate danger to the public.
