A Little Rock resident is accused of stabbing a woman during an altercation at which children were present, police said.

Annie "Pearl" Goldsberry, 43, was arrested around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, records show. She faces one count of first-degree battery.

Tammy Lytle, 39, of Little Rock faces two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor after police learned that two of her children were present during the stabbing, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Officers responded around 6:10 p.m. Wednesday to a home in the 3300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and found Landry Harris, 49, of Little Rock lying on the front porch.

Harris was suffering from multiple cut wounds on her head and neck area, police said. She was listed in stable condition at the time of the report.

Police said Harris had been stabbed in the 1600 block of West 34th Street and moved about a block away to the porch, where officers found a large amount of blood.

Two of Lytle's children came outside the West 34th Street home as police responded. Officers noted that a knife -- reportedly used in the stabbing -- was lying out on a table that both "could have easily grabbed."

Another child later walked up to the residence and said he witnessed Goldsberry arguing with Harris over something that Harris had supposedly stolen.

Goldsberry at one point retrieved a knife and stabbed Harris multiple times, the child said.

Two other children were present during at least a portion of the fight but left for football practice, according to the report.

Police said Lytle's mother later arrived and took custody of the five children, who ranged in age from 3 to 16.

Goldsberry and Lytle remained at the Pulaski County jail as of Thursday afternoon, records show, and bail had not been set. Both have court appearances scheduled for Wednesday.
