Man loses wallet, gun in LR robbery
A man was robbed of his wallet and gun outside a Little Rock motel Wednesday afternoon, he told police.
Officers were called about 2 p.m. to the Ritz Motel at 5301 Asher Ave., where the 52-year-old said a stranger approached him after he left his room to go to a liquor store across the parking lot.
The victim said the assailant, who indicated that he had a weapon, pushed him up against a wall of the store and demanded his belongings, according to the report.
The victim told police that he dropped a gym bag containing a pistol and medication.
Another robber picked up the bag and ran west, the report states. The first attacker reportedly took the victim's wallet with a debit card and identification, and also fled.
