Roxie Browning and Melinda Modica are the newly selected principals for two Little Rock elementary schools.
Browning, who has been a school improvement specialist at Hall High, will take on the leadership of Bale Elementary School, following Hazel Harris, the interim principal.
Modica will be the principal of David O. Dodd Elementary. She replaces Iciphine Jones, who is retiring from the district. Modica was an assistant principal at Chicot Elementary for the past two years. She is a former reading teacher, literacy facilitator and school improvement specialist at Chicot.
