Arkansas State Fair 2018 concert lineup released

Officials say the entertainment lineup for this year’s Arkansas State Fair, released Monday, offers “something for every musical taste.”

Musicians performing at the fair, set for Oct. 11-21, include The Charlie Daniels Band, P.O.D., Ginuwine, Joe Nichols, Ratt, Stokley, Pop Evil, Mark Chesnutt and Ralph Tresvant, according to a statement.

“We are excited about our headliner concerts this year,” the fair’s general manager, Ralph Shoptaw, said. “We’re bringing in some great classic rock, popular country acts, several alternative rock bands and a few R&B artists.”

Below is the performance schedule:

— Oct. 12: The Charlie Daniels Band, 8 p.m.

— Oct. 13: P.O.D., 8 p.m.

— Oct. 14: Ginuwine, 7 p.m.

— Oct. 16: Joe Nichols, 8 p.m.

— Oct. 17: Ratt, 8 p.m.

— Oct. 18: Stokley, 8 p.m.

— Oct. 19: Pop Evil, 8 p.m.

— Oct. 20: Mark Chesnutt, 6 p.m.

— Oct. 21: Ralph Tresvant, 7 p.m.

Every concert is free with gate admission, officials said.

Premium concert tickets — ranging in price from $15 to $40 — go on sale Friday on the Arkansas State Fair website and at the fairgrounds box office.
