The Arkansas Department of Transportation and Metroplan will hold a public meeting on Monday in Cabot to discuss a study to improve the Arkansas 89 corridor between Conway and Cabot.
The study seeks to determine the need and feasibility of a continuous Arkansas 89 corridor, making the highway a key component of the regional arterial network in central Arkansas and providing an east-west corridor connecting Interstate 40 to U.S. 67/167 north of Camp Robinson.
The meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Veterans Park Event Center, 508 N. Lincoln St. in Cabot.
The public is invited to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
