BENTONVILLE -- A Bentonville man was arrested Thursday in connection with rape and battery.
Arthur James Lewis, 26, was being held today in the Benton County Jail awaiting a bond hearing. He was arrested in connection with rape, a Class Y felony, and domestic battering.
Prosecutors have not filed formal charges against Lewis.
Lewis arrest was the result of a combined investigation by Bentonville police and the Arkansas State Police, according to a press release from the Bentonville Police Department.
