This year’s wintry apocalypse drove as far down as a friend’s house near Tallahassee, Fla., where hurricanes are more common than snow. But last week, for a full nine minutes, snow came down on her porch. Flake after flake. After the Snow Event (as they unfortunately call it on the Weather Channel), she took a picture and of course posted it online. The snow had almost covered all the wood boarding. Amazing. A friend posted his message: We will rebuild. Yes, fellow Americans, of that we have no doubt.
