A man has been arrested after threatening a woman and her daughter while wielding a handgun at a North Little Rock home, police said.

Cedric Parks, 38, of Pine Bluff faces charges of aggravated assault and possession of firearms by certain persons, according to a North Little Rock Police Department report.

Officers responded Thursday evening to a residence in the 500 block of Middle Street in North Little Rock, records show. The assault reportedly happened around 8 p.m.

The 27-year-old victim told police that Parks pulled a black handgun out of the waistband of his pants and waived it in her direction, the report said.

Parks then said he would “put nine” in her while waving the gun at her and her 8-year-old daughter, police wrote.

Authorities reported finding three “38 special rounds” of ammunition in an ammunition case on his belt, the report states.

Parks is listed as a convicted felon in an aggravated assault case from 2011.

Records show Parks remained at the Pulaski County jail as of Friday morning, and bail had not been set. He has a court appearance set for Tuesday.
