Pieces 'N Patches

Pieces 'N Patches quilt group will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 1901 S. 26th St. in Rogers.

Grace Graeme will lead a Valentine's Day party. Bring 2.5 inch strips of fabric in red, white and pink.

The James Bright Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at The Old Train Station, 412 S. Main St. in Bentonville. Nominations for new officers will be announced. Monte Harris from the Rogers Historical Museum will be the speaker.

Gardeners

Benton County Master Gardeners will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Lodge at the Bentonville Church of Christ. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. The program will be "The Sheriff's Department Garden" presented by Chaplin David Meyers and Master Gardener Phyllis Stair. This is a sanctioned project of the Benton County Master Gardeners. Guests are always welcome.

NARFE

Bella Vista Chapter 1547, National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, will hold its next monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Friday at Hometown Bank, 21196 U.S. 71 South, Pineville, Mo., just past Walmart. Donuts will be provided.

Our speaker will be Alex Huff, a financial analyst for Edward Jones & Co., who will provide a market update for seniors -- a very timely presentation with the market currently reaching all-time highs.

Hikers

Enjoy a 5K or 10K paved walk through woods and neighborhoods Saturday in Siloam Springs with the Ozark Hill Hikers, affiliated with the American Volkssport Association. Meet at Phillips 66, 1295 N. Mount Olive St. in Siloam Springs, between 9:30 and 10 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m. at Bob Henry Park. Handweavers

The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale. The program is the second part of "Dressing Your Loom" and will cover putting the warp on the loom. Guests are always welcome.

The Northwest Chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse will meet at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 11 in the conference center at Cabela's Retail Store, 2300 Promenade Blvd. in Rogers. Cancer Support

This group is for adult patients, caregivers, families and friends coping with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, MDS or other blood cancers. The group meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 12 at Hope Cancer Resources, 5835 W. Sunset Ave. in Springdale.

Christian Women

The Bella Vista Christian Women's Connection will meet from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 Lancashire Blvd. The public is invited. The feature speaker, Athelyn Buckley, will discuss the benefits of essential oils. Guest speaker is Donna Hutchinson, former state representative for Bella Vista. Her topic will be "Who Are You?"

This brunch is held every second Tuesday of the month, and an all-American breakfast is served for $10. The program is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries.

Child Care Aware

Child Care Aware of Northwest Arkansas has relocated to 1401 S. Eighth St. in Rogers and will hold an open house at 10 a.m. on Feb. 15. The public is invited to attend the event and tour the facility. Child Care Aware of Northwest Arkansas is a resource center for families and child care providers in the community. The organization strives to increase quality care through early childhood education trainings.

Ostomates

This support group is offered to anyone with an ostomy, preparing for an ostomy or caring for someone with an ostomy. The group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 18 at Hope Cancer Resources, 5835 W. Sunset Ave. in Springdale. There will be a 1 p.m. educational meeting prior to the main meeting.

Garden Society

At the next meeting of the Flower, Garden and Nature Society of Northwest Arkansas, two orchid enthusiasts, Cathy and Steve Marak, will talk about their collection of orchids. Both have held offices in the Orchid Society of the Ozarks and they are co-chairing the Eighth Annual Orchids in the Garden Show and Sale March 2-4.

The group will meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 in the Student Center at Northwest Technical Institute, 709 S. Old Missouri Road in Springdale. Social time will be at 9:30 a.m. Membership is not required for first-time visitors.
