FAYETTEVILLE -- One person was hospitalized and another was being questioned Tuesday after a reported shooting in Lincoln.
According to information from the Washington County Sheriff's Office and Central Emergency Medical Services a report of a person having been shot at a home in Lincoln was received by the ambulance system at about 3:50 p.m.
An ambulance was sent to a home on Meade Avenue and Sheriff's Deputies also were sent to the location. The victim was taken by ambulance to Washington Regional Medical Center.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at 16181 E. Applehill Road. Deputies went to there and one person was reportedly detained and being questioned Tuesday evening.
