Attorney general sets roving visits

The Arkansas attorney general's office has announced sites, times and dates for its mobile office visits in August.

The mobile offices assist people with consumer-related issues, answer questions and explain other attorney general's office services. Cooperative Extension Service representatives will be available to provide information on the services it provides. Boxes will be set up at each location so people can drop off old, unused or expired prescription medications.

The mobile office schedule, listed by county, is:

• Crawford County: 10:30 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Crawford County Cooperative Extension Service, 105 Pointer Trail West, Van Buren.

• Crittenden County: 10:30 a.m.-noon, Aug. 30, Crittenden County Cooperative Extension Service, 116 Center St., Marion.

• Franklin County: 10-11:30 a.m., Aug. 21, Franklin County Senior Center, 222 N. Vine St., Charleston.

• Little River County, 10:30 a.m.-noon, Aug., 14, the University of Arkansas Cossatot Community College, Ashdown campus, Barbara Horn Civic Center, 1411 N. Constitution Ave., Ashdown.

• Monroe County: 10-11:30 a.m., Thursday, Mid-Delta Senior Center--Clarendon Center, 553 N. Seventh St., Clarendon.

• Scott County: 10:30 a.m.-noon, Aug. 16, Scott County Cooperative Extension Service, 190 W. First St., Waldron.

• Stone County: 10:30 a.m.-noon, Aug. 28, Stone County Cooperative Extension Service, 205 Martin St., Mountain View.

• Union County: 10:30 a.m.-noon, Aug. 23, Union County Cooperative Extension Service, 307 American Road, Suite 101, El Dorado.
