Work on the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway crossing in Ravenden in Lawrence County will require alternating lane closures on U.S. 63 for three days beginning today, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews replacing the railroad crossing will reduce traffic to one lane from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Friday, weather permitting.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers who will allow northbound and southbound traffic to alternate using a temporary one-lane crossing at the tracks, the department said.
