Not-guilty pleas in Dickson robbery, beating

FAYETTEVILLE -- A couple charged in connection with a Dickson Street assault pleaded not guilty at their arraignments in Washington County Circuit Court today.

Lorenzo Green, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery, battery and tampering with physical evidence, according to a news release. He was given a Nov. 2 court date before Judge Joanna Taylor.

Kayla Rolle, 20, is charged with being an accomplice to each of those crimes. She was given a Nov. 2 court date before Judge Mark Lindsay.

Green is also charged with a parole violation.

Officers found Brandon Blake, 25, of Oklahoma City badly beaten in the early morning hours of July 14 in the parking lot of Arsaga's at the Depot. Blake was treated for severe lacerations, broken bones and a brain injury at Washington Regional Medical Center, according to police.

Green robbed Blake and was shown standing over him in a photo thought to be taken by Rolle, according to a Fayetteville police news release.

Green and Rolle were arrested in Springdale.
