Several police departments are hosting what they're calling "drug take back" events Saturday, authorities said.
The Fayetteville Police Department will be at the Harps at 1274 N. Colorado Drive. The Sprindale Police Department will be at the Harps at 918 South Gutensohn Road. The Prairie Grove Police Department will be at the Harps on 319 E. Buchanan St.
All drop off locations will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The events are a drop off for prescription and over the counter medicines to prevent unwanted medications from getting into the hands of children or local water supplies, according to a press release.
