Patricia Lynn Minor and William V. Ewings were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at Noah's Event Venue. Officiating was the Rev. Felton Burgie of Morning Star Baptist Church, El Dorado.

Parents of the bride are Sarah Lee Minor of El Dorado and the late Booker Thomas Minor of Maumelle. Her grandparents are the late Julie and Doss Minor of Louann and the late Zenora and Charlie Powell of El Dorado.

The groom is the son of the late Earlene Hicks and the late Anthony Brooks of Detroit. His grandparents are the late Walter Hicks of Smackover, the late Charity Hicks and the late Elizabeth and John Brooks, all of Detroit.

Hydrangeas, orange Asiatic lilies, open roses and sunflowers decorated the ceremony site. Music was by Rodney Cummings and Billy Allen.

The bride, escorted by her mother and her nephew, Christopher Givens, wore a gown of eggshell satin. A halter-style neckline was embellished with rhinestone and pearl beaded appliques and a waterfall of ruffles decorated the back of the trumpet-style skirt. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of Asiatic lilies, roses and sunflowers with hanging eucalyptus.

Honor attendants were Valorie Cheri Givens of Plano, Texas, sister of the bride and Takesha McMiller of Triangle, Va. Bridesmaids were Tasha Powell of Winn­field, La.; Shandala Smith of Grand Prairie, Texas; and Andreas James of Woodbridge, Calif. They wore custom rose gold gowns by Korto Momolu, each in a different style, and carried hand-tied bouquets of lilies, roses and sunflowers.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Kayleigh Croom of Little Rock and Caiden Givens of Dallas, nephew of the bride.

Will Edwards of Huntsville, Ala., served as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Gorham of Watertown, N.Y.; Malcolm Scales of Gloucester Courthouse, Va.; Bobby Rumsey of Kansas City, Mo.; and Scott Hoyle of Harvest, Ala.

Guests were seated by Dominique Ewings of Conway and Terrell Jones of Huntsville.

After the ceremony, a reception was also held at Noah's Event Venue. Guest tables, covered in champagne colored linen with chocolate brown runners, were centered with fall arrangements. The buffet held tall silver urns filled with elm branches, lilies, roses, sunflowers and hanging seeded eucalyptus.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and a master's of public health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a registered nurse.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in business management from Columbia College and is an explosive safety engineer with Bastion Technology.

The couple will make their home in Huntsville, Ala.
