JONESBORO -- Joseph Waleszonia ran for three touchdowns and threw for another to lead Valley View (5-2, 3-1 5A-East) over Blytheville (2-5, 1-3).
Waleszonia scored on runs of 10 yards and 4 yards and hit Lehman McNabb on a 70-yard scoring pass to give the Blazers a 21-7 lead at the half.
Ben Brumfield kicked the first of his two field goals and Valley View led 24-7 with 4:18 left in the third quarter.
Jaheim Carter scored on a 5-yard run for Blytheville and Lloyd Adams found the end zone from 13 yards out with 3:40 left in the game as the Chickasaws trimmed the deficit to 31-21.
