FAYETTEVILLE -- Work to improve I-49 and the Fulbright Expressway requires lane closures tonight, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials.
Crews will close southbound Exit 67 to the Fulbright Expressway and southbound lanes of the Fulbright Expressway to southbound I-49 lanes for 15 minute intervals between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Kiewit Infrastructure South Co., of Fort Worth, Texas, has the contract for the $94.8 million project to widen I-49 to three lanes in each direction and improve the Arkansas 112 interchange.
Traffic will be controlled with signage, flaggers and traffic barrels.
