Arkansas man accused of using online communications to try to have sexual contact with boy

A Locust Grove man is accused of using Internet communications to try to have sexual contact with a boy, authorities said.

David Ethan Dilks, 51, faces one felony count of Internet stalking of a child, according to a news release from the Faulkner County sheriff's office.

Undercover investigators began communicating with Dilks on Monday after finding an online advertisement reportedly placed by him, the release said, noting those conversations continued until his arrest Wednesday.

Dilks made arrangements to engage in illegal sexual contact with an underage boy at a location in Guy, the sheriff's office said. When he arrived, authorities took him into custody, the release said.
