Police have identified a woman who was shot and injured alongside her grandson Thursday night in Little Rock.
Officers responded to an address in the 2600 block of Lewis Street about 9:20 p.m. after Sharon Harris, 59, and a 15-year-old boy were both shot in the leg, according to a Little Rock police report.
The boy told police a 21-year-old man entered the residence and said "someone was playing on his phone," then got into a gray 2011 Toyota Camry in front of the house. A second person then got into the car, according to the report, and the two began shooting at the home.
The 15-year-old was shot through the house's front door, police said. Harris told officers she left her room when she heard arguing and was also shot. The vehicle then reportedly drove north on Lewis Street.
A Little Rock Police Department spokesman said Harris is the boy's grandmother. Police initially said the shooting victims were mother and child.
The report named two suspects, ages 21 and 22, but neither had been arrested by Friday. The 22-year-old was reportedly interviewed by police and released Thursday night, while the 21-year-old had not been found.
During an interview with the 21-year-old's mother, who is also the 22-year-old's sister, the woman told police the 22-year-old had been home during the shooting. She also said no one had driven the Camry, although an officer noted that the car's hood was warm to the touch.
The investigation is ongoing.
