One person was shot in the hand and leg Tuesday, according to a Little Rock police spokesman.
Officers were called to an apartment complex at 619 Brookside Drive at 5:53 p.m. for a report of a shooting, according to an online dispatch log.
Police spokesman Lt. Michael Ford said the victim, who had been shot in the hand and leg, was taken to a hospital by emergency medical personnel. He said the victim was listed in stable condition.
At the apartment complex, Little Rock officers stood on a second-floor walkway as other department personnel were inside an apartment. It was unclear Tuesday night if the shooting occurred at the apartment complex or at another location.
No further information was available Tuesday night.
