It's two down and one to go for the Lady Bulldogs. They won their second match in as many days and can wrap up the No. 2 seed from the 7A-West with a win in the regular season finale at Van Buren on Friday.
A corner kick from freshman Georgia Templeton set up freshman Morganne Browning's goal from 16-yards to give Fayetteville a first-half lead. Sophomore Reagan Resz added an insurance goal off of an assist by junior Mariette Bergene with 28 minutes, 50 second remaining in regulation.
It was the second time the Lady Bulldogs (14-4, 10-3 7A-West) shutout Rogers (10-7-1, 8-5) and their eighth shutout overall this season.
The Lady Mounties finish out the regular season at Springdale High on Friday.
