Proceeds will go to support the group's mission of empowering "youth to forge deep connections with themselves, their community and the world by seeing, participating in and learning through theater" and will help ensure that programs are accessible to all children.

Trike shows include professional theater productions performed by adults for youth and their families; the Little Trike Series, designed for 2- to 5-year-olds; and youth productions performed by children 8 to 15 years old. Kassie Misiewicz, executive director, said the Little Trike Series is their most popular program right now with performances needing to be added.

Other Trike programs include educational offerings such as Dramatic Book Club, Digital Storytelling and camps and classes where children can lean about design, character creation, Broadway musical theater, foundations of acting and story telling.

Those out for a night of laughter with Trike included Nathan Pendleton, John Hurst, Stan Zylowski, Monica Kumar, Paul Esterer, Joe Penn, Simone Cottrell, Ted Fox, Jeff Gruener, Eric Jensen, Cyndi and Dave Pierre, Andy Kaufmann, Randy Dixon and Cam Smith.

Maddie & Tae headlined the Starlight Gala on March 3 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers. The country music duo, along with 1,100 guests, helped the nonprofit organization raise more than $660,000.

The Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter is a private nonprofit organization offering 24-hour residential care for children and teens who are victims of abuse or neglect. Founded in 1993 with five girls as residents, the 48-bed shelter serves some 500 children annually. Residents may stay up to 45 days in a six-month period until returning to their families or being placed in foster care.

Those championing the emergency children's shelter included Mary Beth and Arist Mastorides, Luisa and Chris Lamson, Mary Zettle, Nicole and Scott Tessani, Clare O'Brien, Lori and Steve Collins, Maury Peterson, Cheney Youngblood, Tara Gartman Shaw, Erika Zubriski and Nancy and Dick Trammel.
