Two arrested in connection to residential robbery

SPRINGDALE -- Dustye Stamps, 34, of Springdale and Jacob Boivin, 32, of Fayetteville were arrested Monday in connection with aggravated robbery, aggravated residential burglary and kidnapping.

Springdale police found Ronald Stamps with multiple injuries at 6:51 p.m. Friday at 706 E. Center Ave.

Stamps told police Boivin hit him with his fists and the butt of a shotgun and cut him with a knife and a screwdriver, according to a police press release.

Stamps was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. His condition was not released.

Boivin and Stamps was arrested Monday about 3:44 p.m. at Murphy Park.

Stamps and Boivin were being held Tuesday at the Washington County Detention Center on $250,000 bond each.
