Work on ramps on the Interstate 430/Interstate 30 interchange will require a series of overnight lane closures for four nights beginning today and will include a detour on the final two nights, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Repairs to the two-lane off-ramp carrying traffic from southbound I-430 to westbound I-30 will require alternating lane closures from 9 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Monday.
The two-lane ramp carrying traffic from eastbound I-30 to northbound I-430 will undergo alternating lane closures from 8 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Monday and during the same hours Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The one-lane ramp carrying traffic from southbound I-430 to eastbound I-30 will be closed from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday and during the same hours Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Traffic will be detoured at Exit 28 on southbound I-430 and routed along the frontage road to the Mabelvale West Road overpass where motorists can cross over and access eastbound I-30, the department said.
Traffic will be controlled using warning signs and traffic drums.
