LETOURNEAU UNIVERSITY

Matthew Bolognani and Corey Naas, both of Green Forest, were named to the fall 2016 dean’s list at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, with grade-point averages of 3.5 to 3.9

LEHIGH UNIVERSITY

Anna Hill of Siloam Springs was named to the fall 2016 dean’s list at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Penn., with a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher.

Ansley Maria Pharr of Everton was named to the fall 2016 dean’s list at Valdosta (Ga.) State University, with a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.

CENTENARY COLLEGE

Shannon Orlopp of Garfield has been named to the fall 2016 dean’s list at Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

OZARK JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Ozark Junior High School in Ozark is among three schools nationwide that have won the Champions for Change contest to attend the presidential inauguration. One educator and five students received all-expense-paid trips to the Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit this week, including the 58th Presidential Inauguration on the National Mall. These schools received the highest number of public votes. The contest is part of the Chase the Race in School program that works to engage, captivate and energize the youth voice on the importance of democracy and civic engagement. The program includes a series of classroom resources to lead students through the major presidential election milestones.

SAINT VINCENT COLLEGE

Maria Escobar of Springdale was named to the fall 2016 dean’s list of St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa., with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
