Why workers might not be pleased with tax cut effect

Regarding Nathan Owens' and Robbie Neiswanger's story on the tax cuts published Dec. 27: AT&T's bonus of $1,000 per employee sounds extremely generous, but it is only a 50 cent-per-hour annual bonus. With 200,000 employees, it costs AT&T $200 million, one time only.

Meanwhile, AT&T, their shareholders and presumably top executives, will share in anannual windfall of billions and billions of dollars, forever. Trillions of dollars over the years for AT&T and their shareholders and executives, and a one-time 50 cent-per-hour bump for laborers. The workers should be so pleased!
