PAPER TRAILS: 'House Hunters' to air Little Rock episode; Arkansan on 'The Bachelor'

REALTY TV: No need to hunt for Arkansans on HGTV's House Hunters. We can tell you exactly when to watch: 9 p.m. Wednesday for the "Looking in Little Rock" episode.

On House Hunters, agents show a couple three homes meeting their criteria, and the buyers, upon weighing the pros, cons and costs, ultimately pick one. In this episode filmed this summer, Carole Smith and Kerry Dare -- broker-agents with Crye-Leike's North Little Rock office who live in Sherwood -- assist a military couple relocating to Arkansas from Texas. The couple had auditioned for the show, informing Smith and Dare, if chosen, they'd be enlisted too.

As for the clients' names? Smith and Dare don't dare share, due to the confidentiality agreements they signed. Besides, then anyone could just look up their address online and spoil the show!

But Smith offers this much, "The couple, they're just great people. ... I think they have settled in nicely here."

As for the experience, Smith says with a laugh, "We did not want to come across as sounding like we were hicks from Arkansas. We wanted to make our state proud. The crew that shot it and produced it -- they were absolutely fabulous. It was a wonderful experience. It was a lot of work. There are a whole lot of things you don't see on TV. We would do it again if the opportunity came up."

In other words, they (Crye-)Leiked it.

BACH CATCH: From realty TV to reality TV. Recently on Instagram, Tia Booth, a 26-year-old Arkansas physical therapist, posted: "abc official. I guess the rumors are true (rose emoji)#bachnation #season22 #januARIE1."

We'll translate: Booth, a good friend of previous The Bachelor/Bachelor in Paradise star Raven Gates of Hoxie, confirmed what we told you back in October: She will appear on ABC's The Bachelor, featuring Arie Luyendyk Jr. (finalist from the 2012 Bachelorette). The show premieres at 7 p.m. Jan. 1 (and for your watch party, there's a new line of Bachelor Wines, including The Fantasy Suite Cabernet, being carried in this area).

Some info from Tia's contestant bio: She lists her hometown as Weiner. She has four tattoos. If she could be any animal, she'd be a "Leopard -- sly, quick, sassy, beautiful."

Maybe she won't mind The Bachelor mansion then. With 29 women competing for one man, it's sure to be catty.

YULE RULE: CableTV.com released a report of the most popular Christmas movie in each state (cross-referencing data from the AMC channel and Google Trends).

Arkansas' favorite? It's a Wonderful Life. Unusual choice.

In the movie, it is said, "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings."

But in Arkansas, every time a bell rings, Mississippi State just scored a touchdown.
