• William Young, 54, of Columbus, Ohio, convicted in 1999 for stalking a woman, faces a federal cyberstalking charge after harassing letters, emails and online postings were directed at a county sheriff and his family over the nearly 20 years since Young's stalking arrest, prosecutors said.
• James O'Neal, 83, was charged with manslaughter after telling his daughter that he fatally shot her mother 30 years ago when he wrestled a gun away after she threatened to kill herself and then said, "Let me show you how it's done," and pulled the trigger, detectives in Palm Beach County, Fla., said.
