When it was over, the Senators won their conference opener 48-18 and ran just 27 plays.

"We told the kids they are going to try and run the clock,'' Senators Coach Todd Eskola said. "That is just part of it. We don't worry about time of possession. Our goal is to score every time we get the ball and I don't care if it is one play or 15 plays."

Following the lead of senior quarterback Hunter Eskola, who was 7 of 8 passing for 254 yards and five touchdowns, Robinson (4-0. 1-0 7-4A) scored on five of its six first-half possessions and needed just 12 plays for a 33-12 halftime lead. The only drive that was stopped was derailed by a bad third-down snap that lost 26 yards.

Helping Eskola with his big night was senior receiver Koilan Jackson, who hauled in four passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a 34-yard run and a 24-yard punt return.

Junior Nathan Page added three touchdowns, scoring on runs of 17 and 22 yards and catching a late-first half pass.

"We thought it was kinda sloppy. We didn't practice very well this week. We just came out sloppy both sides of the ball bug the kids are resilient and they played well enough to get the job done,'' Robinson's Coach Eskola said.

Page scored on the Senators' first play, a 22-yard run after a bad snap set up the short drive and Chandler Pruitt kicked it 7-0 a little more than a minute into the game.

It took three plays for the second score, a 53-yard pass to Jackson. Pruitt made it 14-0.

Fountain Lake's Hunter Bryant hit Cade Dodge on a 49-yard TD pass and it was 14-6 after Hunter Swoboda blocked the PAT.

Corey Page grabbed a 57-yard TD pass from Eskola on a 3-play 63-yard drive. A failed PAT left it 20-6 before the Cobras marched 54 yard on 14 plays for a 20-12 score with 7:12 left in the half. Myles Fells blocked the PAT.

Nathan Page grabbed a 22-yard TD pass with 3:37 left in the half and Jackson caught a 31-yard score with just :25 left in the half for a 33-12 lead at the break.

In the second half, Nathan Page scored on a 22-yard run and Jackson caught hit third TD pass, this one from 31 yards.

Fountain Lake added a final score on a 21-yard pass from Bryant to Parion Johnson.
