Daryl Boone, 34, and Dana Flores, 31, both of 2160 N. Center St. in Fayetteville, were arrested Wednesday by Washington County Sheriff's deputies in connection with aggravated assault, second-degree battery, terroristic threatening, robbery and engaging in a continuing criminal gang or enterprise.

Boone and Flores were being held at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set Thursday.

The two were arrested after Central EMS contacted the Sheriff's Office about a 26-year-old man who had been beaten in the area of Arkansas 45 and Rivercrest Road.

The man identified Boone, Flores and two others and said they put him in a choke hold, punched him in the face then threatened to break his hands if he did not let go of the prescription medications in his pockets.

The man said the four stole his shorts, cellphone, 120 oxycodone pills, 60 Dilaudid pills, $600 and the entire contents of his wallet.

The man told officers he was getting a ride home from the four when the incident happened.

According to police reports, the man had a broken nose and blood on his shoes and clothes. His left eye was bleeding, bruised and swollen. He was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Officers said they found a blood trail about 70 yards long on the roadway when they went to the scene of the attack.

Boone and Flores admitted to the altercation when questioned, according to reports. Flores told officers Boone punched the man in the face while another suspect choked the man. Flores said she and Boone took the man's pants and all the property in his pockets. Boone admitted leaving the man on the side of the road after he was beaten, according to reports.
