ARKANSAS 7, LOUISIANA TECH 7

Arkansas notched two first downs and reached the Louisiana Tech 49 before Austin Allen was sacked for an 8-yard loss on a safety blitz by Secdrick Cooper. Xavier Woods intercepted Allen’s deep out pass for Jared Cornelius on third and 18. The Bulldogs converted a third and 10 en route to J’mar Smith’s 9-yard quarterback draw up the middle for a score. Smith was 4 of 6 for 48 yards on the opening drive. Arkansas took more than six minutes to score on Rawleigh Williams’ 6-yard run at left guard. Allen went 3 of 3 for 39 yards. The Bulldogs went three and out. Williams ran 16 yards on a second-and-9 screen pass to the Hogs’ 40 to end the quarter.

2nd Quarter

ARKANSAS 14, LOUISIANA TECH 14

Arkansas reached the Louisiana Tech 39 before two lost-yardage plays. Toby Baker punted to the 8, and the Bulldogs went three and out. Keon Hatcher had an 18-yard catch on fourth and 7 from the 35, then Jared Cornelius grabbed Austin Allen’s 13-yard pass for a touchdown two plays later. Dre Greenlaw intercepted J’mar Smith on the first play of the next possession. The Hogs drove to the Tech 17 before Prince Sam’s interception and 34-yard return. Trent Taylor had a 19-yard catch, leading to Jarred Craft’s 1-yard touchdown run. The Razorbacks went three and out. Craft ran 31 yards to the Arkansas 37, where Jonathan Barnes’ 54-yard fieldgoal try went wide right as time expired.

3rd Quarter

LOUISIANA TECH 20, ARKANSAS 14

Louisiana Tech drove to the Arkansas 26 before a Taiwan Johnson sack on third down brought Jonathan Barnes on for a 43-yard field goal. Austin Allen was sacked on first and second down, then a screen pass lost 3 yards. Jarred Craft made a 1-handed catch on a swing pass against the blitz and went 26 yards, then Carlos Henderson had a 24-yard catch to set up a 20-yard field goal. The Razorbacks got one first down then punted. A first down and a personal foul on Ryan Pulley put Tech in Hogs territory before Randy Ramsey had a sack for a 5-yard loss on third down, forcing a fumble that J’mar Smith recovered on the final play of the quarter.

4th Quarter

ARKANSAS 21, LOUISIANA TECH 20

J’mar Smith ran for 8 yards then threw incomplete. Jonathan Barnes’ 39-yard field-goal try bounced off the left upright and was no good. Arkansas launched a touchdown drive that ate up 6:37 with Rawleigh Williams rushing 6 times for 37 yards and Keon Hatcher catching 2 passes for 31 yards. The Hogs rolled the dice on fourth down from the 4. Austin Allen rolled right and threw back to Jeremy Sprinkle for the score. Tech got two first downs, then Deatrich Wise and Jeremiah Ledbetter sacked Smith for a 9-yard loss on third and 10, and Tech punted. Arkansas gambled on fourth and inches from its 37, and Kody Walker bulled through for the first down. Arkansas then ran out the clock.
