While Arkansas' pitching staff struggles this season, one of its former arms is thriving after transferring.

Colin Poche was named national pitcher of the week by Collegiate Baseball newspaper on Monday after striking out a career-high 14 against Missouri State. Poche improved his record to 8-0 and has an earned run average of 2.03.

Poche transferred to Dallas Baptist after tearing a ligament in his throwing elbow at Arkansas in 2014. In two seasons with the Razorbacks, he appeared in 26 games and had a 2.45 ERA.
