Kelly Elizabeth Allison and Dr. Hunter Morehead Gibbs were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in Goodwin Manor. The Rev. David Gill officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Judy and Frank Allison, 406 N. Palm St., and the granddaughter of Donn and the late Elizabeth Allison and the late Kathryn and Dr. Charles Jones, all of De Queen.

Parents of the groom are Cindy and Dr. William Gibbs III of Searcy. His grandparents are Sue and the late Jo Breashears of Searcy and the late Sara Jo and William Gibbs II of Forrest City.

The ceremony site was decorated with large urn arrangements of wedding flowers. Music was by the Little Rock String Quartet.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown with a sweetheart bodice and fit-and-flare skirt. She carried a bouquet of white peonies, white garden roses and ivory hydrangeas.

Serving as maid of honor was Katy Allison of Little Rock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sheerin Mehdian of Memphis; Ginny Keel of Nashville, Tenn.; and Amy Randall of Little Rock. They wore navy gowns and carried ivory and champagne wedding flowers.

Flower girls were Thierry White of Fayetteville and Swayze Spotts of Riverside, Calif., both cousins of the groom.

Best man was Blake Towell of Little Rock. Groomsmen were Tanner Gibbs of Fayetteville and Will Gibbs IV and Connor Gibbs, both of Little Rock, all brothers of the groom. Guests were seated by Scot Allison of Fayetteville, brother of the bride, and Brandon Middleton and Peyton Maddox, both of Little Rock.

The bride graduated magna cum laude with honors and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Rhodes College in Memphis, where she received a Senior Research Award and was named to the Rhodes College Hall of Fame. She will graduate later this month with honors in research and a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

The groom graduated from Hendrix College in Conway with a bachelor's degree. He received a medical degree from UAMS and is a medical resident in psychiatry.

The couple will live in Pittsburgh after a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
