Springdale Police on Tuesday released the identity of the man found dead Monday in a field near Shady Grove Road, just north of Springdale Country Club.
The man was James Steed, 21, of Springdale, according to a news release. The man's body was sent to the medical examiner's office at the state Crime Laboratory. An investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected, according to the news release.
Springdale police responded to a call of an unresponsive person about 3:30 p.m. Monday, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
