Samuel Carlton was named loan officer at Generations Bank in Fayetteville. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in business marketing from the University of Arkansas in December. Carlton is a member of the Razorback Foundation Young Alumni and Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders.

Jacob Harr , Harris McHaney Property Management director of operations, was named a Patriotic Employer by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Harr was presented with a certificate and a Statement of Support signed by Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter. Harr was nominated by Cody Patterson, an employee of Harris McHaney Property Management, who is serving in the Army National Guard.

Lyndi Fultz joined Soapbox Insights + Influence, a division of Kendal King Group, in May. Fultz joins the company as a director focused on bringing shopper and consumer insights to life.

Shelby Briley joined Soapbox Insights + Influence, a division of Kendal King Group, in May. Briley joins the team as a project coordinator supporting shopper insight studies and managing influencer initiatives designed to create retailerspecific shopper awareness for new product launches, seasonal products and key items.

Chris Thornton was named executive vice president and loan manager for Arvest Bank in Springdale. Thornton has been with Arvest Bank since 1996, starting as a trainee and moving up through the commercial banking department. He most recently was commercial banking manager and senior vice president for Arvest Bank in Fayetteville. He is president for the Children’s Safety Center and a committee member for Leadership Fayetteville.

Margie Arion, chief human resources officer for Acosta, a full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods industry, was named Progressive Grocer’s 2016 Top Women in Grocery. The 2016 Top Women in Grocery winners are recognized in the June 2016 issue of Progressive Grocer magazine and will be honored at a networking event and gala awards celebration later this year.

Carlen Hooker, senior vice president of business solutions for Acosta, a full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods industry, was named Progressive Grocer 2016 Top Women in Grocery.

Cheryl Maduzia, vice president of strategic advisers for Acosta, a full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods industry, has been named Progressive Grocer 2016 Top Women in Grocery.

Melinda Williams, vice president of natural/specialty sales for Acosta, a full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods industry, has been named Progressive Grocer 2016 Top Women in Grocery.

Bill Hewlett joined Mercy Clinic Northwest Arkansas as the executive director of operations for its specialty care clinics. Hewlett served as a captain and paramedic for the Bella Vista Fire Department and as clinical coordinator for Northwest Arkansas Community College. He has also been a life support and patient care technologies instructor with Northwest Health System. Hewlett has a bachelor’s degree in emergency medical sciences from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and will receive his master’s degree in administrative studies from Missouri State University in 2017.
