Rogers Fairfield Inn & Suites renovated
MCR Development LLC, the seventh-largest-hotel owner-operator in the United States, completed a renovation of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Bentonville Rogers. The 99-room select-service hotel is at 4611 W. Rozell St. in Rogers.
The renovation involved removing a partition that separated the lobby and dining area to create a more open gathering space to accommodate personal and business gatherings, and social events. Additional improvements included outfitting the lobby, guest rooms and fitness center with new furniture, and new carpet and wall treatments throughout the hotel. The meeting center now has a new television that is compatible with mobile devices and computers.
Pieology Pizzeria opens in Fayetteville
Pieology Pizzeria has opened its first Arkansas location at 1777 Martin Luther King Blvd., Suite 2, in Fayetteville. Pieology Fayetteville offers personal pizzas and made-to-order custom salads. Patrons can choose from more than 40 fresh ingredients. The pizzeria features an industrial-chic and friendly environment where inspirational quotes decorate the walls, menus and employee uniforms.
Wine Spectator honors 3 restaurants
Wine Spectator released the winners of the 2016 Restaurant Awards, given in recognition of outstanding wine programs. The Award of Excellence recognizes restaurants whose wine lists feature an assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Best of Award of Excellence recipients offer more extensive selections with significant vintage depth and excellent breadth across multiple regions.
