• Floyd John Wayne Maloney, 35, of 1002 S.E. Martin Lane in Bentonville was arrested Thursday in connection with residential burglary. Maloney was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

• Christopher Howell, 32, of 451 Deer Park road in Leakesville, Miss., was arrested Thursday in connection with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Howell was being held Thursday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond.

• Brittany Reed, 31, of 3408 Backus Ave. in Springdale was arrested Thursday in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Reed was being held Thursday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond

• Rico Austin, 42, of 1212 Dunn Ave. in Fayetteville was arrested Wednesday in connection with second-degree sexual assault and sexual indecency with a child. Austin was released Wednesday from the Washington County Detention Center with a $3,500 bond.

Springdale

• Crystal Vance, 34, of 3656 A Green Acres in Springdale was arrested Wednesday in connection with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Vance was being held Thursday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond.

Sulphur Springs

• John Charles Atwood, 28, of 413 S. Bush St. in Sulphur Springs was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated assault and third-degree domestic battering. Atwood was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Washington County Sheriff's Office

• Trey Alspaugh, 22, of 1035 Spatz Circle in Conway was arrested Thursday in connection with possession of a controlled substance. Alspaugh was released Thursday from the Washington County Detention Center with a $2,500 bond Thursday.

• Austin Adams, 36, of Springdale was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated assault and first-degree false imprisonment. Adams was being held Thursday at the Washington County Detention Center with no bond.

• A vehicle was reported stolen at 2:38 a.m. Thursday at 1043 S. Regency Drive.

• Theft of construction cones was reported at 1:04 a.m. Thursday at 35 S. Duncan Ave.

• Theft was reported at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday at Chief Motel at 1818 N. College Ave.

• Theft was reported at 8:39 p.m. and 4:17 p.m. Wednesday at 3010 N. College Ave.

• Hotel employees told police a guest stole more than $1,000 in items from a room before he checked out at 2:01 p.m. Wednesday at Days Inn at 523 S. Shiloh Drive.

• Forgery was reported at 11:58 a.m. Wednesday at Liquor Mart & Wine Shoppe at 2100 N. College Ave. Someone fraudulently used a card to buy $482 worth of liquor, according to the police dispatch record. The person went to multiple liquor stores in Fayetteville to use the card, according to the report.
