A Mountain Home player will receive a $25,000 yearly check after winning the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery's Lucky for Life drawing, but the winner has not yet claimed the prize, lottery officials said.
The player won the prize after matching five of six numbers in Monday's drawing, according to a news release. Players who match all six numbers win $1,000 a day for the rest of their life.
The person purchased the winning ticket at the Gas N Go at 1508 U.S. 62 in Mountain Home. The store is eligible for a $3,900 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to the release.
